11.12.1997 - Interpretation of dali48
If one kills a louse, where does the life go that is in the animal? - Will it disappear from this world forever? - When a cherry branch is placed in a vase, its buds are turned into blossoms and leaves, but it will be less than if one had left the branch at its tree. - Life is different (see "flora and fauna", etc. - d.48) in the broken branch as the life in the tree?
This is the way (see e.g. Tao etc. - d.48). I must only believe firmly in nature and "God," then all problems will be solved - whether they are more personal - family-like - or social type... (D. Ikeda)

And when all the heavens leave me, and all persecutors attack me, as long as my faith is not disproved by a wise man - I will never give up my religion, which I have consecrated my life... (Nitschuren Daischonin, 1281)

For a man without religion is lonely and vulnerable, - a swaying leaf which is helplessly exposed to the wind! - False religion brings misery and destroys their followers with deadly security... (D. Ikeda)

Only the one who remains strong in solitude, - is a true hero... (F. Schiller)

As long as Buddhism is not widespread, - people must continue to suffer senseless battles and clashes...
Where faith is, there is peace, - teaches the "lotus sutra"...
At all times those persons are hated and persecuted by the powerful (see e.g. Tibetan monks, etc. - d.48) who love the people with a pure spirit and true compassion...
Traveler, where are you from? - And where are you going? - The moon went down, but the sun is still behind the horizon. I advance ahead of dawn, and still in the dark in the search for light. I must drive out the clouds of the spirit, and I must find the tree that defies the storm. Therefore I raise me from the earth... (D. Ikeda)
