Interpretation of dali48

The Nobel Prize for Literature has been awarded annually since 1901, - and is worth 8 million Swedish crowns since 2012. - For the selection of the laureates, the Swedish Academy is responsible.

Alfred Nobel, the founder of the five Nobel Prizes said in his will that the prize winner for literature shall have created "the best in an ideal direction." - The award is awarded each year on 10 December, - the anniversary of the death of Alfred Nobel by the Swedish king.

Since it was first awarded a total of 109 writers have received the Nobel Prize in Literature. - Among these 97 men (88.9%) and twelve women are (11.1%). Nobody has been repeatedly awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

From 1901 to 2012, the price was 101 times undivided awarded to a person. Only four times the price was divided between two persons (1904, 1917, 1966 and 1974), but never between three people, although this would be possible according to the statute.

Seven times the price was not given, last in 1943.
