03.07.1998 - Interpretation of dali48

The belief of the 3 East Asian religions (see Brahmanism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen, Chinese Universe, Tao etc. - d.48) to an eternal world law of change and becoming (see Einstein and "Cosmic Principles" etc. - d.48) and Christianity, which believes in an omnipotent "Deity" who governs the course of the world from the beginning of creation to the end of the world, are the two opposing principles of the five great religions - about 9/10 of the world's population ... (H. v. Glasenapp)

In spite of this outer splendor he was not happy, the abundant life did not satisfy him, because he realized that all pleasures are transient - and that he, like every human being - is subject to age, disease and death ... (Siddhârtha)

Buddha never believed that all human beings in the world could renounce and ascetically live, but only an elite of persons (see monks and nuns, etc. - d.48), others in a near or distant future, or only in a later incarnation (see rebirth, etc. - d.48). - Buddha did not believe that a permanent rule of the good in the world was possible - He did not believe in the coming of a kingdom of heaven ...
Buddha:
All appearances in our world are transient. - He does not believe in eternal material atoms like the materialists, nor in an immortal soul or spirit-monads that live on when the body disintegrates, as the spiritualists do. He avoids all speculations - which suspect behind the transient phenomena something immortal. - Buddhism knows no first world beginning and no last end of all things, but an initial and endless series of world creations and world endings, and not one world system - but infinitely many. - If the peasants are without virtue, sun, moon and stars leave their proper circulation. - Then the "Gods" are angry, and the rain-god does not let it rain properly ...
According to the still valid theory, the purpose of worship can only be that the devotion purifies the believer's heart - and thereby leads him to salvation ... (H. v. Glasenapp)
