07.10.2001 - Interpretation of dali48
If they want to go on, it is out of fear of poverty - If they decide to retire, they will do so in order to protect their health - But neither of these two ways of life is a source of real satisfaction - Neither at work nor in leisure do they find fulfillment of themselves - Neither here nor there are they free ... (S. de Beauvoir)

Interpretation of dali48

Retirement refers to the state in which a person is at the end of their working life. This status is obtained by retiring from working life, especially in old age and can be found in the honorary or professional title with the abbreviation i. R. ("retired"). - Early retirement means voluntary early retirement, i.e. the period from the termination of employment to the statutory retirement age. - Retirement normally goes with the pension or pension and title the last stage of life of a person. - Retirement usually begins in Germany with the month following the completion of the 65th year of life. From 2012, this standard retirement age will be extended annually by one month. - According to two judgments of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) of 16 October 2007 and 12 October 2010, it is not a case of age discrimination when a worker is retired against his will - as soon as the statutory retirement age is reached. - The transition can be very drastic for those affected personally and relatives. The main causes of the change in the way of life following the end of employment are: the reduction of income. - While the retirement age was raised to 67 years, some companies allow their employees to retire at the age of 58. The pension reduction associated with the previous pension is partially compensated. (Wikipedia)
