The more we are purified and cleansed, the more subtle our sense pleasures become - It is not exactly a sign of purification when one has to get drunk to be happy - We only have to devote ourselves to the four highest feelings - loving kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity to have heaven on earth - The teachings of the Buddha show us the way - out of the jail of our misconceptions, perceptions, reactions, opinions, desires, beliefs and attachments - Whenever an uncomfortable feeling comes up - investigate: What didn't I get that I wanted - or what did I get that I did not want? - What is it that has produced this subliminal feeling of dissatisfaction? - So we gradually get rid of blaming others - that we do not feel completely satisfied - A spirit of rejection, resistance, anger, selfishness, even grief - it is a sign of attachment in it, is a shrunken spirit - He sees only what he wants to see, and accordingly, the world looks to him.
The 5 groups of adherence:
1. body; 2. feeling; 3. perception - hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, touching - is always subjective; 4. thoughts with which we make our karma; 5. consciousness = sensory consciousness.
Our body consists of 4 elements:
Earth corresponds to the bones, muscles, skin - Water corresponds to the blood, urine, saliva, mucus - Fire corresponds to the body temperature - Air corresponds to the winds and the movement.
No "ego" = no problems - The more we drop, the more peace and quiet we find - Peace never exists in the worldly - Peace can only be in the heart. And peace means happiness, because there is no happiness without peace - Who wants nothing - can not be defeated or robbed ... (Ayya Khema)
