15.10.2009 - Interpretation of dali48

Between 1930 and 1938, the year he left his government position - he made the acquaintance of many prominent Italian authors and painters...

The recipient of many literary prizes - in 1953, for instance, together with Dylan Thomas, he was awarded the Etna-Taormina International Prize in Poetry - Quasimodo died in Naples on June 14, 1968... (Salvatore Quasimodo, Biography 1959)

Moreover, they (high priests of tradition) are obsessed with allegories of the credible destruction of the world - They do not tolerate chronicles but only ideal figures and attitudes - For them the history of poetry is a gallery of ghosts! - Even a polemic has some justification if one considers that my own first poetic experiments began during a dictatorship (see money-dictatorship since ca. 2008 etc. - d.48) and mark the origin of the Hermeneutic movement...

I knew that young men quoted verses from my lyrics in their love letters - others were written on the walls of jails by political prisoners (see Nelson Mandela etc. - d.48)... - What a time to be writing poetry! We wrote verses that condemned us, with no hope of pardon, to the most bitter solitude - Were such verses categories of the soul - great truths?

Traditional European poetry, as yet unrestricted, was unaware of our presence: the Latin province, under the aegis of its Caesars (see De Bello Gallico etc. - d.48), fostered bloodshed, not lessons in humanism...

Poetics and philosophies disintegrate "when the trees fall - and the walls collapse"... (S. Quasimodo, Nobel L. 1959)
