Golden Snow
“morning dali48 , this is one of the most important subjects in the world today ... we all have to step up to the base and stand up to save the Bee's ... they are our life... without our food table will be empty ... I am amazed that so many still just don't get this ... more public awareness is necessary ... thanks for your post ... I never knew: How many of the world's approximately 20,000 species of bees are native to Germany ... interest to follow up ... and yes I can see them being our pets in my garden they are a
welcomed visitor ... love to hear and watch them”...

Is CCD still a problem?
In addition to CCD, parasites and pathogens, poor nutrition, pesticide exposure (see neonics etc. - d.48), lack of genetic diversity, and habitat loss can weaken or kill honeybee colonies. The number of colonies reported to be lost to CCD has been declining since 2008, but overall colony loss rate is still a major concern.09.05.2024
