Cattle (colloquially cows) are the most common type of large domesticated ungulates. They are a prominent modern member of the subfamily Bovinae, are the most widespread species of the genus Bos, and are most commonly classified collectively as Bos primigenius. Cattle are raised as livestock for meat (beef and veal), as dairy animals for milk and other dairy products, and as draft animals (oxen / bullocks) (pulling carts, plows and the like). Other products include leather and dung for manure or
fuel. In some countries, such as India, cattle are sacred... Cattle are venerated within the Hindu religion of India. - According to Vedic scriptures they are to be treated (see e.g. "BSE" since ca.1989 in Germany, etc. - d.48) with the same respect 'as one's mother' - because of the milk they provide. - "The cow is my mother" (Mahabharata)... They appear in numerous stories from the Puranas and Vedas... (Wikipedia)

Have you read any stories about these cows that are mysteriously falling off cliffs in the Swiss Alps? - Really strange. Seems more than two dozen cows have fallen to their deaths in a span of just 3 days....
Golden Snow
“Living on a farm for the first part of my life gave me time to learn respect for our animals ... they were cared for each day ... we received our milk , butter , buttermilk , in winter months the cows were allowed to venture out for air and short walks ... around their fenced in area .. Mother and my brothers had great respect for all the farm animals and I learned great lessons ... but today animals are abused
with over breeding and over eating ... This is strange "Have you read any stories about these cows that are mysteriously falling off cliffs in the Swiss Alps? - But animals are a lot smarter than most know”...
