- Golden Snow This comment is so true ... "Especially the elderly that are being hurt or abused in some way in their everyday lives." When I worked as a care giver in an elderly home I was shocked at the way they spoke and used the elderly ... respect was just a word and never put into action ... I said one day to a worker "What if someday this is you?" The answer was "take me out and shoot me." I caused such a noise they fired me, but I would not stop ... The home was invested and many were released ... I went back to work for two years there, lots of fun programs were started ... I loved my work, such remarkable people with so much knowledge to give ... the elderly are filled with years of living and have so much to give ... I started adopt a grand-parent that is still in effect today ... thanks dali48 such a great hub ... much needed ...

On the train to the EU Parliament, the Italian Senate, the Vatican and House of Parliament during the Easter holiday. And on Friday I’ll participate in the school strike in Rome. I know it’s a holiday but since the climate crisis doesn’t go on vacation nor will we. #Climatestrike
