19.12.1997 - Interpretation of dali48

We have practice in becoming jealous, holding on to being afraid, sad, desperate and greedy - we are trained to react with anger to everything that provokes us...

The 4 realities of existence:
1. the "natural" bardo of this life (life),
2. the "painful" bardo of dying (death),
3. the "light" bardo of the Dharmata (after-death);
4. the "karmic" bardo of becoming (rebirth)...

This narrow-minded focus on "this" life - is the great deception, the source of the human-despising and destructive materialism of the modern world - I try to teach people to live so - that they say the important things as long as the other can still hear it... (E. Kübler-Ross)

I have begun to understand how close we are to death in everyday life - more than ever, I pay attention to let every person I love feel this too... (R. Moody)

We watch helplessly as our day is filled with phone calls and unconcerned ventures, with so many responsibilities - or should we call them irresponsibilities? - Meditating and learning is the greatest gift you can make in this life - because only by meditation can you discover your true nature - and only in it will you find the stability and the trust that is necessary to live and die well - Meditation is the path that leads to enlightenment...

Make me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm - Yes, strong as death is love, and hard as the underworld is the passion... (The Highly Song, Solomon, 3rd century BC)

The soul is and remains for itself alone - in contrast to the Buddhist idea and the doctrine of Shintoism - After death, the soul experiences a journey and a destiny which, as in Buddhism, is determined by the great turn of the 49th day after leaving the body - During these 49 days it maintains a relationship to the mortal shell and to the world of the living - In Mhayânâ Buddhism, it then goes to nirvana or is reborn in some form - In Shintoism, another soul ("God") emerges from the soul...
(Japanese shamanism / animism)
