Camus was born in 1913 in Algeria. As a philosopher and writer - he
achieved world fame. Filmmaker James Kent feels in his portrait of the
life and work by Camus - He
has also spoken with close companions of the writer and visited the
scene of his formative life: Algeria, Paris and Provence - The portrait
reveals the story of one of the greatest French writers of the 20th
Century. A
writer who has in modern times in which the great ideologies are
increasingly distrusted, finally found a proper place and recognition
of those who rely on truth and justice - not dogmatism and extremism - The
documentation that was created in collaboration with Olivier Todd, the
author of the biography "Camus - Une Vie", describes the life of
