Interpretation of dali48
To this end, let something go - for a moment from which you think that you deserve it, for example something that you enjoy doing, something that you like or think is important. Examine it again and again, until you realize how fleeting it is. Then you will say to you at some point: "I don't need it I can do without it." - This is the moment of truth...
Persistent irritation: We are constantly under the fire of all those things and phenomena, which we:
1st hear - 2nd see - 3rd smell - 4th taste - 5th touch - and 6th think...
Buddha could clearly see every moment of suffering for all beings, because they seek and adhere...
Luck is no accident. Nor is it dependent on external conditions. And peace is not a piece of paper, not a treaty that would sign the UN. Peace is always state of being, an internal standard of living, which is based on...
We need not worry about what will happen after death, perhaps with us. Better we take care of the Now, and to the moment of death...
But we can only learn if we give it all up, one by one. - Every day a little something...
Only when we learn something new, we have used the day for the cause for which it was given us...
The breakthrough for wisdom (see Nirvana, etc. - d.48), which is the only purpose of our lives. - Every day is our life... (Ayya Khema)

Silent Warriors... by dali48 on HP
Interpretation of dali48
Who are they, the descendants of Native Americans? - The photographer Eric Klemm traveled through North America for a year and sought an answer. - 25000 kilometers by car and plane from Alaska to New Mexico in the American South: EK photographed the descendants of the native Indians of more than 120 tribes. His portraits speak of deep sadness, but also of hope. For ARTE programs focusing on "the Indian country," ARTE magazine talked to the photographer about his impressions...
ARTE: Mr. Klemm, do you like Karl May?
Eric Klemm: Of course I have read him as a child, and was impressed. When I emigrated to Canada, I suddenly had contact with real Indians. Then I thought back again to Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. But Karl May was a dreamer. - What he wrote was true, perhaps long ago. Today, American Indians are America's Sinti and Roma: they are oppressed and discriminated, with no money, no job, often without native land, homeless...
ARTE: What is the life on the reservation?
EC: Reserves are the saddest places I've ever seen. You need to imagine them like run-down council estates. Governments have taken the land of the Indians with beautiful forests and rivers, and gave them some tiny insignificant area instead, and put on miserable little houses. Indians are very tightly connected to their home country (see e.g. honey-bees etc. - d.48)...
Each tree is important to them. - The reserves have never filled with life, because Indians are miserable there. I once met an old man, who said: "I'd rather live on the streets than on the reservation." - That says it all... (ARTE, 2 / 2010)
An American Indian reservation is an area of land held and governed by a U.S. federal government-recognized Native American tribal nation, whose government ...

04.03.2001 - Interpretation of dali48
Infidelity belongs to human nature, and thus bears the fact that by 3 to 4 years of living together, - "chemistry" gets lost of magic between 2 people, - and by the waning charm of sexual partners...
Most divorces (according to statistics) happen in the 4th year of marriage...
The successful functioning of a relationship depends on the expectation that man and woman bring an equivalent into their marriage (see money and sex etc. - d.48)...
"Love" is given on the condition and quiet expectation to receive an equivalent in return. - In this respect the idea of the so-called selfless love turns out to be as a delusion (see TV etc. - d.48)...
Market factors are ultimately also prevailing in a partnership according to which one must give something to get something. - The most stable and happy marriage will therefore be then, if a balance between performance and compensation is available and each one gets exactly what he in his opinion is entitled to...
It is by no means necessary to give the same for the same: Love will be exchanged on safety, - sex for material donations (money), and attractiveness for warmth...
Erich Fromm (see e.g. Have or Be, read in Tübingen in the 70s etc. - d.48) is one of the first callers in the desert, who already in the 50s pointed warningly to the threatening collapse of human couples...
For him, the relationship misery is resulting from the lack of ability to love of modern Western people - who live in a world of commodities and consumption, - and only have their pleasure in the sense (see "fun culture" etc. - d.48) ... (D. Stiemerling)
