We can not buy an extension of life! - We have to leave everything behind! - Although we need material goods to live, they certainly are not something ultimately worthwhile! - The causes of misery can be overcome - when we solve the mind from the emotions that cause suffering...
Instead, we should strive to reduce our clinging to things limited to this life! - Not only this life, but also the entire miraculous abundance and the boundless sources of the cycle of the rebirths are of a sad nature - after all, everything will pass away...
Life consists of 3 kinds of suffering:
1 the suffering of the pain itself,
2 the suffering of change, and
3 the all-pervading suffering of causation...
Happiness arises through the taming of consciousness, through the decision to be freed from the cycle of rebirths - Only an earlier life (consciousness) can be a substantial cause of today's consciousness! - What you take in death with you is the power of your own good deeds! - So it is better to be right at the beginning to set limits and to be modest! - If one is not content, but greedy for this and that, the desire can never be completely satisfied - Even if you were to rule the whole world, that would not be enough! - Desire and greed can not be satisfied...
It leads to disappointments, misfortunes and problems! - At first we experience suffering during childbirth and then in childhood - at the end of life it is age - the physical weakness, immobility, the deterioration of sight, loss of hearing, coupled with many inconveniences and pain - and finally the suffering of the death...
Emotions like desire and hatred cause suffering - and generate karma that bind us...
