Both stories (Le Vent, 1957, and L'Herbe, 1958) play in the south of France - where Simon himself has his roots and lives as a winemaker... (C. S., Nobel Pr, 1985)

And above all howls of hot Mistral (see the book "Hot is blowing the wind of Yucatan" which I read in the 60s, see The Bora on the Croatian coast during a holiday in the 70s, see a typhoon in Kurosaki in 1978, see the desert wind

Sirocco

from North Africa near Almeria during camping in the 80s etc. - d.48), the wind that fills the people with his eternal, desiccating, and dusty indefatigability, - an inhuman element in which people live, in spite of their activity and their mixing, as if they were trapped under conditions - which are permanent and stronger than they are themselves... (Claude Simon)

In France, the mistral particularly affects Provence, Languedoc east of... the wind pushes the warm water near the surface out to sea and it is replaced by colder...

Wikipedia

14.10.2000 – Interpretation of dali48
If he (Jesus) would only be a wise man like Socrates, a prophet like Mohammed, or an enlightened like Buddha, - he wouldn’t certainly be what he is (see what he has been in different times etc. - d.48)… (JP II)

The idea behind the statement is that Christianity is the only way to salvation (see History, see e.g. Fascism, Communism etc. - d.48) and all other religious traditions are worthless... (T.N.H.)

If the wave realizes that its reason for being is water, - it overcomes all fear and sorrow...
We no longer believe that life begins at birth and ends with death - because both terms have been transcended (see e.g. NDE etc. - d.48)... (Tillich)

08/01/2014 - Wole Soyinka4 and "justice" etc.

25.02.2008 - Interpretation of dali48
As a human rights activist, he (Soyinka) has been a courageous voice for justice, freedom, and the end of tyranny (see e.g. Germany etc., and neo-Nazis since 1989 etc. - d.48)...

But the ultimate lesson is just to sit down and write - that's all... (UC Berkeley)

Soyinka wrote a series of radio plays (1961), until the government made its efforts to naught - because he was overly critical...

After (1965) he was wrongly accused of conspiracy and spreading false election results on the radio, - and he was arrested. From an international group of writers, including Norman Mailer and William Styron a protest movement was organized against his detention, and he was released three months later...

During his detention, Soyinka scribbled secretly on discarded cigarette packs, on toilet paper, and between the rows of books - which he had procured secretly...

"It served my health to be able to scribble just a few words from time to time, - and I think that would apply to most writers"... (BBC, Radio 4)
