Interpretation of dali48
His début book initiated a series of crisis accounts, including the narrative collection La fièvre (1965) and Le déluge (1966), where he reveals confusion and fear in the great cities of the West. From an early age, Le Clézio emerged as an ecologically-minded writer, an accent he accentuated with the novels Terra amata (1967), Le livre des fuites (1969), La guerre (1970) and Les géants (1973) - Longer stays in Mexico and Central America between 1970 and 1974 were crucial to his work, and he wanted to find a new spiritual reality in contact with the Indians, and away from the big cities - He met the Moroccan Jemia, who became his wife in 1975 - Since the 90s, Le Clézio and his wife live alternately in Albuquerque in New Mexico (USA), on the island of Mauritius and in Nice - The writer's penchant for the dream of an earthly paradise shows in the last years in books such as Ourania (2005) and Raga: approche du continent visible (2006) - The emphasis of his work has become more and more in the direction of the exploration of the world of childhood and moved to the story of his own family - Revolutions summarizes the main themes of his work: memory, exile, youthful departure, conflict of cultures. Episodes of different times and places are juxtaposed: the apprenticeship of the protagonist in Nice in the 50s and 60s, the experiences of the Breton ancestor as a soldier in the revolutionary army 1792-94, and the emigration to Mauritius in order to escape the suppression by the revolutionary society, as well as the story of a slave from the beginning of the 19th century ...
