It is a mistake that involves man in the 3 worlds:
the world of the body - the senses - of the mind - The awakening (see satori etc. - d.48) opens all 10 directions in the void - The sign of Zen is worn just above the heart and is a symbol of the beating human heart - Zen is daily life as it is - If you believe that daily life and Za-zen are different, then you are going in the wrong direction - Here I realized that death belongs to life - like life to death. This has something very comforting - Here I have understood that death requires no solemnity - Zen rejects any attachment, any clinging to something from the outset, just does not allow it to ... - Scientific convictions - have in Zen the same course value as beliefs (see e.g. dogmas of the Catholic Church etc. - d.48), worldviews (see Ideologies etc. - d.48). They have to be reset if you want to seriously enter Zen - Thinking is not the only measure of knowing - i.e. thinking becomes free of emotions, becomes clear and simple without frills - Does it make sense to talk about Zen? - Barely. It has to be experienced concretely - Zen is own experience. Ideas can separate people and make to enemies - only recognizing the reality of what is, can connect them together - Although I run so far away - I can not run out of me - When I am aware that it is I who breathes in and exhales - I am in Zen - I live inside and I die inside - I can not live from the outside to the inside - I have to live everything that I live in me at the same time. It belongs together - Life is a whole, a unity that takes place in me - by my living ... (L. Groening)
