Physicians of the German Diabetes Center (DDZ) and the Institute of Environmental Health Research (IO) in Düsseldorf see a clear link between air pollution and the risk of developing diabetes! - The scientists of both institutions have been reaching this conclusion after a common long-term study, the results are now published (see e.g. our old apartment in Erkrath, - bus stop outside the front door with 5 bus lines + jams, - and diesel-lorries (redevelopment area), parking 2-3m from my bedroom window, and pestilenting the air + noising during my private tuition etc. – d.48)! - The result of the study: In the very city of much traffic concerning Essen (see “Ruhr-Area” etc. - d.48) in this time twice as many subjects were affected on a type 2 diabetes than in the country located near the city of Münster (see e.g. Borken etc. - d.48)! - "It is the first time that a long-term study has demonstrated a link between the pollution in the air (see also dying of bees by neonics etc. - d.48) and the disease," says Ursula Krämer from IUF! - The particles in the air can cause that the activity of the immune system is strengthened (or will weakened, etc. - d.48)! - Already, the scientists see that the study is of great relevance for environmental policy and the habits of the European population (see e.g. barring the city centers for pestilenting cars of all kinds - except electro-vehicles etc. - d.48)! ...
