21.02.1999 - Interpretation of dali48
This fixation of the initiator to the negative qualities of the other is the reversal of the mysterious process that takes place when we feel attracted to a human being... - From our growing sense of dissatisfaction, we make the weaknesses of the partner even greater than they are... - I believe that mental infidelity has much more serious consequences for the relationship than sexual side-jumps... - If the initiator finds the joint search for new solutions to be too difficult (or in vain), he may decide to change independently... - Perhaps there will be no changes - and the partners still stay together... - We all have secrets in our love relations... - We conceal so many things from our partners, our everyday experiences, our past relationships, our true feelings about sex, our relationship with friends and relatives of the other, or even money matters, and we also conceal our innermost hopes and fears, whether they concern our work, health, love life or future... - Why do we endure in unhappy relationships? - Because commitment is a moral value for us, because we feel bound by marriage, because we do not want to hurt the partner, because we are afraid to find nothing better, because we believe in our positive forces, to change things to the good (see "happy-end" etc. - d.48), because we are not people who simply throw everything away because a separation would cost money, time, energy, friendships, and this price is too high for us - because we have children, because we do not want to hurt our parents because we believe in "God"... - In fact, among the people I interviewed, there was not one who had not been attacked once more by sadness and the feeling of loss in an attempt to present the event in chronological order, regardless of how much time had elapsed since then... - I believe that relationships are fundamentally dynamic and that not stability but change is their normal condition...
30.01.1948 - At the beginning of his prayer hour, M. Gandhi succumbed to a murder of the radical Hindu party... - which saw him as a traitor to Hinduism... (D. Vaughan)
