13.05.2001 - Interpretation of dali48 + update
Certain rigid thought patterns that relate to negative personal experiences, combined with increasing disillusionment and despair, rise our susceptibility to diseases of organs! ... (J. Borysenko)
What is an example of a rigid thinking pattern? - Examples of it: Refusing to consider others' opinions or suggestions. Struggling with abstract or hypothetical concepts that do not have a single, clear answer. Black-and-white thinking, where situations are viewed as all good or all bad, with no middle ground.
What is the root of negative thinking? - Negative thinking often takes root in childhood, stemming from traumatic experiences, neglect, or negative reinforcements. If you grew up in an environment where criticism, blame, or pessimism were common, you might have internalized these behaviors, leading to a habit of negative thinking.12.06.2023
Buddha compared such a vindictive attitude with a burning coal, which you take into your hand to hurl it against the others. - You do not want to admit that you will burn yourself. - Only when it is too late, you will accept it, gritting your teeth. - A meditation-master of our day, Swami Chidvilasananda, compares an accusatory, vindictive man with a man who burns down his house to get rid of a rat, not realizing that the rat that he wants to hunt, eats in himself. - No one can run away from oneself (see e.g. neo-fascism, since 1989 etc. - d.48)! - People who are dissatisfied with themselves, often enough leave out their aggression on their fellow man, - mainly to those who oppose them friendly and not intimidate them. - Others are not hurting from ignorance, but out of revenge because they themselves were injured! - This mechanism can be interrupted only when the wounds of the aggressors are healing! - In fact, birth means entry into the polar world whose master is the devil, as Christ expressly states at the Last Supper ... (R. Dahlke)
What does Buddha say about revenge? - Buddhism categorically rejects acting with intention to harm (revenge). There are ways to overcome the hurt caused by someone to us. Neither revenge nor forgiveness.20.07.2021
What does Buddha say about trauma? - The Buddhist teaching known as "realistic view" holds that trauma "is not something to be ashamed of, not a sign of weakness, and not a reflection of inner failing. It is simply a fact of life."31.07.2013

09.02.2025 - Broken heart or shattered dreams etc. / Unpredictability of disease and Cancer, Alzheimer's etc. / Overpopulation etc.

dali48 and private teaching since 8/1983, menaced since 1989, and writing diary & books & photographing in Erkrath etc.

10.05.2001 - Interpretation of dali48 + update

There are people who die in the truest sense of the word of a broken heart or shattered dreams. - Our intuitive knowledge of such connections can be demonstrated in laboratory studies. - The question is therefore how to win back the lost joy, hope and love to use it for the health both of body and the mind! ... (J. Borysenko)

What are the symptoms of a broken heart? - The most common signs and symptoms of broken heart syndrome are angina (chest pain) and shortness of breath. You can experience these things even if you have no history of heart disease. Arhythmias (abnormal heartbeats) or cardiogenic shock also may occur with broken heart syndrome.31.05.2024
Takotsubo cardiomyopathy or "Broken Heart Syndrome" is when the heart muscle becomes suddenly stunned or weakened. It mostly occurs following severe emotional or physical stress.
What happens to your body when you're heartbroken? - Jennifer Kelman, licensed clinical social worker and life coach, says that heartbreak can lead to appetite changes, lack of motivation, weight loss or weight gain, overeating, headaches, stomach pain, and a general sense of being unwell.
What can you do to keep your heart healthy? - Overview
  1. Eat a heart-healthy diet.
  2. Get active.
  3. Stay at a healthy weight.
  4. Quit smoking and stay away from secondhand smoke.
  5. Control your cholesterol, blood glucose (sugar), and blood pressure.
  6. Drink alcohol only in moderation.
  7. Manage stress.
  8. Get enough sleep.

It is this unpredictability of the disease (Cancer, Stroke, Heart attack, AIDS = ca. 1% of Alzheimer's, Liver disease, Hepatitis etc. - d.48), which leads us acutely aware that our feeling of having everything under control is deceiving ourselves, and shows us our helplessness in mind, like it shows it to a man whom the carpet is suddenly pulled out from under his feet! - If we do not wake up soon and stop disturbing the balance in nature, our population problem (about 7,000,000,000 etc. - d.48) could be solved over this unexpected way (female hormones, infertility, etc.)! ... (R. Dahlke)
Was ist Todesursache Nummer 1? - Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen bleiben Todesursache Nr. 1.
see dali48 and "I hope that Biontech (formerly in Mainz, now in London) & #mRNA #vaccines etc. - will develop a vaccination against cancer etc."

As the population grows, the demand for resources such as land, water and energy increases, leading to deforestation, loss of biodiversity and increased carbon emissions. The strain on the environment has led to severe consequences, including climate change and widespread habitat destruction.16.08.2024
Will overpopulation be a problem in the future? - Ultimately, unless we take action to help minimize further population growth heading into the remainder of this century, many scientists believe the additional stress on the planet will lead to ecological disruption and collapse so severe it threatens the viability of life on Earth as we know it.
How can we stop overpopulation? - Actions on the individual level
  1. Have fewer children! ...
  2. Consider adoption!
  3. Read, educate yourself about population issues – read more here.
  4. Reduce your personal consumption: go vegan, limit flying, share your household with others, and more.
  5. Educate your teenage child(ren) about sex and contraception early, without taboos.
How many people can Earth handle? - A 2012 United Nations report summarized 65 different estimated maximum sustainable population sizes and the most common estimate was 8 billion. Advocates of reduced population often put forward much lower numbers. Paul R. Ehrlich stated in 2018 that the optimum population is between 1.5 and 2 billion.
How many people are in the world in 2025? - The projected world population on January 1, 2025, is 8,092,034,511, up 71,178,087 (0.89%) from New Year's Day 2024. During January 2025, 4.2 births and 2.0 deaths are expected worldwide every second.30.12.2024
