22.08.2009 - Interpretation of dali48

Tradition has it that Bodhidharma, a southern Indian prince who lived in about the 6. Century and was the founder of Zen in China, sat for 9 years in silence - facing the wall of a cave, and finally attained enlightenment - The Zen practice of silent meditation in a seated posture derives from Bodhidharma... - Here we have the spirit of Zen in oriental painting - The heart of the ink painting is in space, abbreviation, what is left undrawn. In the words of the Chinese painter Chin Nung: "You paint the branch well, and you hear the sound of the wind!" - And the priest Dogen once more: "Are there not these cases? -  Enlightenment in the voice of the bamboo - Radiance of heart in the peach blossom!"... - Compressed to the ultimate, the Japanese garden becomes the "bonsai" dwarf garden, or the "bonseki," its dry version... (Y. Kawabata, Nobel Lecture 1968)

Shining upon the bamboo thicket where the sparrows twitter, / The sunlight takes on the color of the autumn." / "The autumn wind, scattering the bush clover in the garden, / sinks into one's bones. / Upon the wall, the evening sun disappears... (Empress Eifuku)

07.12.2016 – OTI and the Eastern mind etc...

dali48 and private tuition and writing books and photographing in Erkrath etc...

05/01/1995 - Interpretation of dali48

The Eastern mind is very slow - because there's no use to hurry - Life takes its own course - and everything is determined by fate - so that is what you get - not determined by your haste or hurry...

You'll have your life - your answers - create your own meaning of life - without setting out from yourselves...

There's no sense - unless you see it as in Coca-Cola, etc. - or you find it in yourself - But who are you...?

This is the only question that remains - Who am I...?

They throw themselves into work - entertainment - recreational activities - or use of alcohol and drugs - in order to must not see - what is obvious...

The modern, enlightened consciousness, it seems - is a very unhappy consciousness! - The more advanced a civilization, the more neurotic are its members - the more mentally ill people - the more addicts - the more suicides etc... (Osho Times, 5/95)

80% of employees suffer from psychosomatic symptoms such as stress - see neck pain, etc... (Dagens Nyheter, Stockholm)
