It is our being addicted (sticking), which our unhappiness and our feelings of confinement are based... - We see them everywhere - We are sticking to our emotions like anger or pride - We cling to people: to our partners and children - We stick stubbornly to an opinion: "I'm right and you are not" - We protect our social roles - such as our identity as the perfect wife or an elite athlete... We stick to expectations - "All my children will bring home good grades" - or goals, “I will have pulled through this project up to 16 o’clock” - To our identity as a parent or athlete, nothing is wrong - and we all need goals and... - What brings us into trouble is that we are sticking to them...
