Each day is our whole life - from sunrise to sunset etc… (dali48)
see dali48 and "Zen finds religion in the daily activities." (I-tuan), see Does Zen believe in a soul? - However, the Buddha taught that there are no such things as a permanent Self or Soul which can be reincarnated or reborn after death (Rahula, 1974: page 3). The Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh believes there is no reincarnation in Buddhism (Miller, 2012).
see What is a Zen spirit? - Zen is defined as a state of calm where actions are guided by intuition rather than by conscious effort. The term comes from the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese word Chan – with roots to the Indian practice of thinking and meditating known as Dhyana.
see What is the psychology of Zen? - Zen is experiential, not didactic. Enlightenment relies heavily on intuition, metaphor, and poetry. The master can point in the general direction toward wisdom, but each person must find their own personal path.19.03.2022
see Is Zen ok for Christians? - Because they are not on the same plane, Zen and Christianity do not conflict. Graham in his book, Zen Catholicism also points out that there is no harm in applying Zen insights into Catholicism.
see Does Zen believe in afterlife? - In Zen, Life and Death are one, a continuum, and they are not separated and there is no dividing line between them (as, indeed, there is actually no dividing line between anything, there only seems to be – divisions are arbitrary and made to enable us to function in the finite world, what Zen calls 'the world of form') ...10.03.2014
see How does Zen affect life? - Zen meditation reduces stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and deep-breathing techniques. It helps people to manage their emotions, gain clarity of mind and experience deep peace and emotional well-being. The practice halts constant intrusive thoughts.09.05.2024
see What makes a person Zen? - They don't let stress, anger, or frustration get the better of them. According to the Cambridge Dictionary, the word “zen” refers to a person's ability to remain calm and relaxed in the face of difficulties and not worry about things out of their control.27.02.2021
see Is Zen good for Mental Health? - Meditation and mindfulness practices like Zen Therapy have also been shown to have a variety of other positive effects, both mentally and physically, such as promoting feelings of calmness, improving sleep and immune function, reducing feelings of stress and increasing self-awareness.09.11.2022
Let go of something you like, and realize how fleeting it is by living without it... (Ayya Khema)
What is the Buddhist quote about pain? - A quote usually attributed to Buddha says, “Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional.” What a profound statement! There is no suffering if you can let go. Pain becomes immaterial in the absence of suffering.29.01.2012
Buddha realized that all living beings suffer because they desire and cling ... - Peace is an inner attitude to life that consists of letting go and renunciation (see e.g. nuns & monks etc. - d.48) ... (Buddha)

30.12.1997 - Interpretation of dali48 + update
Prophecies can not be completely binding, - otherwise everything would be predestined ...
Sometimes this need for something greater or higher is very negative, - e.g. in the form of patriotism, and besides, traditions can become ossified ...
The marmot bit the people who had a too rigid mindset and too many prejudices - whether you are in the "transit lounge" of an airport or sitting in the toilet, you really have to want to be there, - you have to dedicate entirely to this "being-there." If you are sitting there and actually would rather be somewhere else, - then "that" is the place where you should go to, - you should not choose a situation that you do not consider valuable! - This can be associated with inconvenience, - even if the person concerned is wonderful, the whole can nevertheless be the beginning of a path into the abyss. - Power is a very strong aphrodisiac! - Immediate sexual contact does not make it easy to really get to know a person! - Today, a dangerous attitude towards intimacy is very widespread, which causes many people to look at too many things as self-understandings. - If the lama needs devotion, he is not a teacher. - The only thing a lama needs is an "attack point" with the help of which he can tackle the neuroses of the pupil. - If there is not enough dedication, - this relationship can not fulfill its function ... (C. N.  Rinpoche)
What are sexist attitudes and beliefs? - Sexism is linked to beliefs around the fundamental nature of women and men and the roles they should play in society. Sexist assumptions about women and men, which manifest themselves as gender stereotypes, can rank one gender as superior to another.
Which country is the least sexist? - Finland, along with neighbours Sweden and Norway, has one of the strongest global reputations for gender equality. The Scandinavian country's government uses a systematic and target-oriented approach to tackle sexism, and has its own Gender Inequality Policy.
Is society still racist? - A huge number of people still don't even believe that contemporary racism exists. Despite the mountains of empirical evidence confirming that racism is a part of almost everything, almost everywhere, almost all the time, people are still stuck in a conversation about whether or not it is even happening.18.01.2025
Is Christianity against transgenderism? - Within Christianity, there are a variety of views on the issues of gender identity and transgender people. Christian denominations vary in their official position: some explicitly support gender transition, some oppose it, and others are divided or have not taken an official stance.
What is the paradox of predestination and free will? - Predestination, in theology, is the doctrine that all events have been willed by God, usually with reference to the eventual fate of the individual soul. Explanations of predestination often seek to address the paradox of free will, whereby God's omniscience seems incompatible with human free will.
Have any prophecies ever come true? - Not a single prophecy from the Bible has been proven false. Many prophecies remain in the future, but all that have come to pass have been verified to be true. Thousands of prophecies from the Bible have been fulfilled. An amazing prophecy is found in Revelation 11:9.
Is karma predestined or free will? - We cannot change our karma. This life is indeed predestined as a result of our past karma brought forth into this life. But we certainly can change the impact of karma, after we realize 'who am I', and furthermore, become free from all bondages of karma forever.28.07.2024
Do Buddhists believe in predestination? - Does Buddhism believe in the saying, “One cannot escape one's predestined fate”? Buddhism does believe in the principle of karmic cause and effect, but it does not believe in predestined fate (jieshu).
