The longing for love is higher than the longing for the body. Love longs for both spirits to merge. Someone who is looking for love will not go to a prostitute. That would be absurd. There is no love there. But someone who is caught in sexual desires is more likely to see a prostitute. He longs for a body and you can buy the body. But you cannot buy the spirit. The spirit demands love: someone who is ready to surrender completely unconditionally. The spirit wants to give itself to someone. The joy that arises when two spirits meet is called love, and the pleasure that arises when two bodies meet is called sexuality. But there is something that goes beyond the spirit - the soul. The soul yearns to merge with another soul. The ecstasy that arises from this encounter is called devotion. Energy has 3 forms: sex, love and devotion. Devotion is the highest form of love. 1% love gives sexuality a beautiful aura that is not its own; she is borrowed. It hides the ugliness of sexuality and gives it a sheen of beauty. It hides the senselessness of sexuality and gives it a glimmer of meaning. If you give up your longing for life, you will be amazed to see that by it also the longing for death disappears. - Have no fear.
